Shipping Policy

This policy covers shipping obligations for sellers, expectations for buyers, and how Botmarket handles shipping-related disputes.

1. Seller Shipping Obligations

Sellers must ship purchased items within 5 business days of payment confirmation unless a different timeframe is stated in the listing. Items must be packaged appropriately for the weight and fragility of the robot or component being shipped.

2. Tracking

All shipments must include a valid tracking number provided to the buyer within 24 hours of dispatch. Shipments without tracking are not covered by buyer protection in the event of non-delivery.

3. Shipping Carriers

Sellers may use any reputable carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL, DPD, or equivalent). For items over 30kg, freight carriers must be used. Botmarket provides integrated label creation via EasyPost for domestic US shipments.

4. International Shipping

Sellers are responsible for customs documentation, export declarations, and compliance with export control regulations. Buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance in their country. Botmarket is not liable for delays caused by customs.

5. Shipping Costs & Seller Add-ons

Shipping costs are set by the seller and displayed at checkout. Botmarket does not mark up shipping fees. For robot-sized items, shipping costs are estimates based on declared dimensions and weight — final carrier charges may vary. Sellers may enable integrated shipping management via a subscription ($299.99/month) or a per-sale fee (1.4% of sale price), which enables EasyPost label creation, tracking, and buyer notifications directly through the platform.

6. Damage in Transit

Sellers are responsible for adequate packaging. If an item arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, the seller is liable for the refund. Buyers must photograph damage upon receipt. Carrier insurance claims for transit damage can be initiated by contacting support.

7. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed. Botmarket is not liable for carrier delays. If an item has not arrived within 14 days of the estimated delivery date, contact support to open a non-delivery claim.

8. Returns Shipping

For approved refund cases (item not as described), the seller provides return shipping. Botmarket will coordinate return labels where possible. Items must be returned within 7 days of refund approval.

9. Restricted Destinations

Sellers are not obligated to ship to all countries. Listings may specify shipping restrictions. Export to sanctioned countries or regions is prohibited by law. Buyers in restricted regions should confirm with the seller before purchasing. See our refund policy for transactions that cannot be fulfilled due to shipping restrictions.
