Corrections Policy

Our Commitment to Accuracy
We take errors seriously. When we get something wrong — a spec, a date, a figure, a name — we correct it promptly and transparently. We do not quietly edit articles without disclosure.
Types of Corrections
Factual Corrections
Errors of fact — wrong numbers, misattributed quotes, incorrect product specs, wrong company names — are corrected immediately and marked with a correction note at the top of the article.
Clarifications
When original text was accurate but could reasonably be misread, we add a clarification note. The original text may be retained alongside the clarification to preserve the record.
Updates
When a story develops after publication — a funding round closes, a product ships, a company reverses a decision — we add an update note at the top or bottom of the article with the date of the update.
Correction Process
- Report received — error flagged by reader, staff, or source
- Verification — editorial team verifies the reported error against primary sources
- Correction applied — article updated with corrected information
- Note added — correction note added at the top of the article, dated
- Logged — correction recorded in our corrections archive below
Correction Note Format
Correction (April 19, 2026): An earlier version of this article stated the Unitree G1 payload was 3kg. The correct figure is 2kg. We regret the error.
Correction notes appear at the top of the article, before the body text, so readers encounter the correction before the content it applies to.
